What is Steele Speech Services LLC?

Steele Speech Services LLC is a pediatric private practice serving several communities in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Based out of Grosse Pointe, the owner Kaitlyn Steele discovered a need for children to receive speech and language therapy services from the comfort of their homes. We provide primarily in-home speech therapy sessions and can also see a child at their daycare or school. Mobile speech therapy services offer a great opportunity for parents and family members to observe therapy sessions and understand what their child is working on with the speech therapist. 

Our services include evaluations, treatment sessions, school contracting for speech-language pathologists. We can also provide community trainings or speaking engagements upon request. We are passionate about helping young communicators find their voice and we specialize in working with children ages 18 months and up. Areas of treatment include speech sound disorders such as articulation or phonological disorders, motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia of speech or dysarthria, receptive and expressive language disorders, stuttering, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism, late talkers, as well as early literacy skills.

Our top priority is establishing positive relationships with our clients and their families. We help to maintain strong rapport building abilities in order to encourage children to learn new things. Improving communication is the overall goal for all of our clients and we are just as excited as the kids and their families when new skills are achieved. 

We are in-network providers for some insurance companies. We also accept private pay.
