The University of Texas at Dallas: M.S., Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology B.S., Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Kaitlyn is the owner of Steele Speech Services LLC and is a clinician. She is licensed in Michigan and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Kaitlyn has several years of experience working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. Her experiences include working for various private practices as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as working in the public school setting. Areas of specialized training and clinical experience include: childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and preschool language development. Kaitlyn also enjoys treating speech sound disorders and is experienced with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Kaitlyn can be found in the Apraxia Kids directory as a qualified provider and participates in continuing education for apraxia on an annual basis. Kaitlyn and her husband reside in Grosse Pointe Woods with their two young boys and two dogs. |

M.A., Communication Sciences and Disorders - Eastern Michigan University B.A., Linguistics - University of Michigan Claire is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University’s master’s program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She first became interested in the field of speech-language pathology after shadowing an SLP as part of her undergraduate linguistics coursework at the University of Michigan. Claire’s clinical practicum experiences during graduate school included providing teletherapy services to clients at EMU’s Speech and Hearing Clinic, working with adult clients at an outpatient neurorehabilitation clinic, and working with kindergarten-5th grade students in an elementary school. Her interest areas within the field of speech-language pathology include childhood apraxia of speech, language development, executive functioning, and hippotherapy. In her free time, Claire enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering at Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center. |
